Summer Reading is for everyone! Choose your age group and start your reading journey.

Children

Ages 0-12

Picture books, early readers, chapter books, and more! Complete age-appropriate challenges and earn prizes all summer long.

Teens

Ages 12-18

Young adult fiction, graphic novels, and more! Participate in teen-focused challenges and compete for exciting prizes.

Adults

Over 18

All genres welcome! Set reading goals, track your progress, and enter to win great prizes. Reading is for everyone!

Physical Books at the Library

We have hundreds of physical books across all age groups and genres. Check out up to 10 books at a time with your library card!

Free book shelf: Take home books from our curated collection by Friends of Libraries and Literacy.

Need something special? Ask about Interlibrary Loans to access books from other libraries!

Digital Books & Audiobooks

Libby: Access thousands of free ebooks and audiobooks with your library card. Available on any device!

New Mexico Reads: Digital collection featuring Southwest ebooks and audiobooks from local authors.

El Portal: Ebooks, newspapers, magazines, and research materials—all free for New Mexico residents!
