Homebound Delivery Service

Can’t visit the library in person? We deliver to Bernalillo residents who are unable to visit due to age, disability, or illness.

What we deliver: Books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, and more

Schedule: Bi-weekly deliveries and pickups

Sensory-Friendly Environment

We welcome patrons with sensory sensitivities, autism, and cognitive differences.

Quiet Hours: First hour each weekday is designated quiet time with reduced activity

Sensory Kits: Fidget tools, noise-canceling headphones, and weighted lap pads available at front desk

Visual Schedules: Social stories and visual schedules available for families

  • Large Print: Over 2,000 large print books in fiction and non-fiction
  • Audiobooks: Physical CDs and downloadable digital formats
  • Braille: Select titles available through interlibrary loan
  • Descriptive Audio: DVDs with audio description tracks
  • eBooks: Adjustable text size on all digital titles
  • Dyslexia-Friendly: OpenDyslexic font books and audio formats
